Product Review: Dave's Killer Bread

For several months, I searched high and low for a delicious and healthy bread to pair with my sandwiches. I tried the stable health brands like Ezekiel, Manna and Rudi's, but I was not satisfied with any of their products. I wanted that thick chewy texture that didn't crumble or need to be toasted. I kept searching and I finally discovered Dave's Killer Bread, a certified organic product that relies on whole food ingredients to deliver a fresh, nutrient dense bread. I tried it once and I was hooked!

I love the variety of taste in Dave's Killer Bread. You can find a wide-range of seeds, such as sesame, flax, pumpkin and many others. In addition, Dave offers whole wheat, spelt, barley and even sprouted options. Dave's bread contains:
  • No Artificial Flavors
  • No Preservatives
  • No Corn Syrup
  • No High Fructose Corn Syrup
  • Non-GMO
  • Certified Organic
  • Certified Kosher
  • Vegan
I was curious about the name, so I did some research. It turns out that Dave was born into a family with a bread business, but he battled with depression and addiction which landed him in prison for 15 years. After his release, he went back to work for his family to turn his life around. He then created a new healthy bread that provided an exciting option for health conscious shoppers. Dave's inspirational story gives hope that anyone can turn their life around. Dave employs over 40% of ex-felons to work in his company to help with the transition out of prison. I'm proud to support a company that strives to make a difference in people's lives.
